This web site is part of a federal computer system used to accomplish federal functions. The Department of Energy monitors this web site for security purposes to ensure that it remains available to all users and to protect information in the system. If you use the Public Comment Form on this web site to provide a public comment on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline Renewal Environmental Impact Statement (TAPS Renewal EIS), or send a TAPS Renewal EIS public comment by e-mail, your comment and personal information you send with it may be forwarded to the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management or their contractors for processing, review, and/or response as part of the EIS process. It is US Department of the Interior policy that any information collected may be subject to disclosure, but will be handled in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act and the Freedom of Information Act to ensure the greatest protection of personal privacy in the face of any required disclosure.
